Game 5 V St. Fagans

After check out from our motel this morning we travelled down to our next hotel 'St Mellons, Best Western. With a surrounding golf course, Edwardian architecture and sizable rooms.....the group is very happy....this will be a most relaxing time for the next few nights.
We played against a red hot team today called St. Fagans, basically the next division down for playing for your county (state) as a few of their young guns go to university down the road and in the squad at Glamorgan CC.
The game was restricted to 25 overs due to rain and a fabulous system called the 'Duckworth/Thompson/Lewis' system....at least our scorer Beaker knew how it worked!
Batting: Moffat 9, Dinsdale 0, Godfrey 6, Wells 0, M Thompson 2, G Thompson 15, P Jackobson 0, Jones 26, Noble 15, Betts 1, Edwards 0. Bowling: Godfrey 1/28, M Thompson 0/43, Jones 0/31, Noble 1/53, J Whiting 0/14, A Thewlis 0/32.
St Fagans 2/206 dft Wattlesprigs 10/87
Today we are off to the golf course in the morning and then the game at 11 am V Lisvane.
