The bus ventured to Manchester United soccer ground and we were lucky enough to get a tour around this most famous ground. Some walked to Old Trafford to look at the cricket ground.
A highlight was being able to walk down the players race as a team, like Bobby Charlton, Georgie Best and David Beckham have previously.
Travelled to Stamford today and met up with Wattlesprigs ‘old mate’ Hudson and Fiona. Hudson’s father Don Batty of Cobram actually wrote our team song!Had a super dinner at the Garden House Hotel where we are staying. Blowie did some more fines while Neil ‘I’ve lost my voice’ Thewlis collected over 60 quid for the kick. The fines money will go towards a formal lunch at Clavering this Wednesday, where we will have lunch at Trevor Oliver’s restaurant (Jamie’s dad)
